Skincare Tips For Winter

Follow these five tips to keep your skin nice and hydrated this winter.

  1. Shorten Your Shower Time

    Long, hot showers can dry out your skin. Try to keep your showers under 10 minutes so you don’t lose moisture in your skin.


  2. Exfoliate!

    Remove dead skin cells by gently exfoliating.


  3. Slip Gloves On

    After moisturizing with your favorite lotion, slip cotton gloves on to help your skin absorb the moisture leaving you with super soft hands.


  4. Add a Little Honey

    Make your own hydrating scrub at home with honey and sugar. The honey reduces inflammation and the sugar helps with circulation.  This is great for drier patches of skin like your elbows.


  5. Don’t Forget The Sunscreen!

    Sunscreen in the winter seems silly, right? WRONG! Just because it’s cold out doesn’t mean the sun can’t damage your skin. Remember to apply sunscreen daily.  I like to use a moisturizer with an SPF already built in.
